On 7/4/21, I sat down to make a mixtape featuring "Independence Day"-themed songs. I quickly realized that I had created a feedback loop between my receiver and tape deck, but that I could get some subtle variations of the tones by adjusting the bias and input levels on the tape deck.

This particular recording is made up of three tracks - the original tape recording, and then the same recording played at two different speeds.
