Mahler 5: 4 Movement

In September, I was offered the opportunity to take part in the Mahler Remixed concert put on by the Entrepreneurial Musicianship department at NEC.

My piece was a reworking of a Zander-led BPO concert from the 1980s. I took the 4th Movement of Mahler's Fifth would dub and re-dub over cassette tapes, adjusting speed as needed.

All sources were cassette tapes (even the BPO recording) and it was all mixed on a Tascam 424.
